If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at support@treesandplants.com. Your claim must be received within 3 days of receiving your package. We will reship the damaged plant after receiving your claim. What states do you ship to?
We ship to the contiguous United States. We do not ship live plants to California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, or Arizona due to the states' strict agricultural regulations. These states have comprehensive laws in place to protect its environment and agricultural industry from invasive pests and diseases. These regulations limit or prohibit the shipment of many plant species, as well as certain growing media and packaging materials. Because of this, and to remain fully compliant with state laws, we cancel any orders received from these states. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you understand our commitment to responsible plant distribution!
What is my hardiness zone?
A plant hardiness zone map shows which plants are most likely to thrive in a particular place based on climate.
The most widely recognized system – the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map – was developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). This map divides North America into 13 zones, each representing a 10°F difference in the average annual minimum winter temperature. For example, Zone 3 may experience temperatures as low as -40°F to -30°F, while Zone 10 would only see lows around 30°F to 40°F.
Plant Selection: When you're picking out plants, you’ll see tags indicating which hardiness zones they’re suited for. A plant labeled as hardy in Zones 4-8, for instance, won’t likely survive the winters in Zone 3 but would do fine in Zone 5.

Why are the leaves on my tree or plant curling up and turning brown?
This could be caused by too little water. If you are watering regularly, the cause could be that the soil is draining too quickly, so the roots aren't getting enough water. It could also be that the tree is on a slight slope, so the water may be running off the slope.

Most of the time, yellow leaves are a sign of too much water. This can occur from too much rain, too much watering, or perhaps poor drainage.
How quickly will my plant grow?
In our listings, we provide the growth rates and mature sizes of our products based on ideal growing conditions and published information. But remember: Trees and plants are unique and all grow differently!
We can't predict how quickly your trees will grow, fruit, or flower. All plants must be nurtured properly in a suitable environment. Because every plant is unique, every home is unique, and every landscape is unique, results will vary.
What type of grower pot do you use?
Our trees and plants are grown in 1-gallon and 3-gallon grower's pots. We list the container sizes in the product listing. These are industry-standard trade gallon sizes.
